Marcus Thieme holds a degree in economics from University Mackenzie, Brazil (1995), an specialization in applied economics from FIPE/FEA USP (1998) and an MBA (except dissertation) from SMU, Canada (1999-2001) and an MBA in ESG from IBMEC (2024, Brazil). Throughout his career, he held positions related to capital markets, at Banco BTG Pactual (92 to 98); at RBC Capital Markets (2001-2007); at Vale S.A (2007-2009). From 2011-2017 at Tereos Internacional S.A, was responsible for the Investor Relations area. Between 2018 and 2019 he served as IRO at Bunge Açúcar e Bionergia. Since 2021, he leads the Investor Relation Director/ESG areas at Caramuru Alimentos S.A and Finance. In the end of 2024, he assumed the position of CEO of Caramuru Alimentos S.A.
